I want to develop this particular theme further in other posts, but I couldn’t help videoing this experience. I know it’s very relatable to anyone with a dog, or a small but happy child, on a walk!
Thinking of myself as more of a thrown together committee - with very widely spaced points of view, flows of information, and goals - helps immensely when I start to feel like self-care is out of reach. Self-care for which self, exactly?
The dogs are now happily tired. And more or less inhabiting one space each. And I am pursuing self-care for all of my selves. Not a small thing, that.
:)
